Battling Death: Singer, Vast (From Bracket) Fighting Cancer Of Blood!

Nwachukwu Ozioko popular known as Vast, a member of the singing duo, Bracket, is currently in a hospital in the UK battling for his life against cancer, a deadly disease. Specifically, he has Lyphoma, a category of cancer affecting the blood.

He was diagnosed in February, during a show in Paris, after having an attack of intense body pains, headaches, incessant coughing, weight loss and general weakness. He immediately took a flight to
London and carried out a string of tests which came up with the dreaded result; He had cancer!

Treatment of his condition have since commenced, at the Wellington Hospital in the UK, and as at the time of this report, sources say he has received 4 cycles of chemotherapy (treatment using chemical drugs ) to which his response have been positive. It might also interest you to know that each chemotherapy cycle cost about N1.4 million, and he’s set to carry out more treatment before his return to Nigeria scheduled for next month.
Vast had sometime last year, gone for a series of tests in Nigeria after he noticed a gradual weight loss and experienced weakness, but the result was delayed for an extended period of 3 months, and by the time he was able to get a result, the situation had become dire with the cancer already spreading to his liver.
Our sources reveal that his response to treatment is positive, and they are optimistic that he’ll return home in no time.
