A lorry driver is lucky to be alive after being impaled by a metal pole that PINNED him to his seat.
The accident happened after the man hit a fence and one of the two meter-long steel pipes being carried on the back pierced through the cab wall. The tube passed through the unnamed man’s stomach and nailed him to the driver’s seat.

Trapped ... rescuers work to free man

Firefighters in Beijing, China had to use tools to cut through the pipe to free the man so he could be taken to hospital. Incredibly, he is now in a stable condition and out of danger.
