New parents can be deluged with advice - so heir are a few tips William and Kate might want to consider too.
The Royal couple are about to experience the same delights and dramas as any new mum and dad.

However cute you think they are, it's probably not a good idea to squish them like this.


Because babies have a LOT of wind.


Never forget to check the temperature of the bath water.


Use whatever resources you have to keep them occupied.


And don't be afraid to get inventive.


Kids can never have enough books.


Always carry wetwipes.


It's probably best to get that first trip to the hairdressers out of the way early.


Definitely use a stair gate.


And don't leave them alone with pens.


Encourage your child’s natural talents.


But don’t assume they can see danger coming.


Seriously, they can be really dumb sometimes.


Teach them the life skill: practice makes perfect.


Expect plenty of temper tantrums.


Lastly, always remember that most little monsters...


... will tire eventually.
