Rihanna Claims Top Spot on Youtube as Artist With Highest Number of Views

 

Rihanna is no stranger to attention, in fact some would say she courts it judiciously and lately it seems she’s never away from the news feeds for all sorts of things. If she isn’t in the middle of a tweet fight, her cosmetic products are selling out hours after release time or ofcourse she’s tweeting risque photos of herself possibly for the benefit of on-again/off-again boyfriend Chris Brown.
Now Riri’s back in the news as her Youtube channel has emerged the one with the highest artist
number of views beating out teen sensation Justin Bieber who has 3,782,989,210 with 3,784,030,789 views. Rihanna’s channel which has a total number of 8.7 million subscribers has been in existence since 2009 and it reached the top on the strength of such videos as ‘Only Girl(In the World), ‘Man Down’ and ‘We Found Love’.
The journey to the top hasn’t been without controversy for Riri as her ‘We Found Love’ video was banned in France in 2011 which led to an increased viewing on Youtube.
