Pay My Money, You Debtor – Blackface Takes Swipe At 2Face

This things always have a way of cracking me up! It now seems that things have finally fallen apart with pioneer members of the defunct Plantashun Boiz, Blackface and 2Face to the extent that Black has come out with all guns blazing, dubbing 2Baba a debtor par excellence. The can of worms has to do with 2Face’s hit song, African Queen, which Blackface insists he wrote. And now, he is telling anyone who knows 2Face to beg him to pay up the debts he owes as part of revenue from the song
even though 2face has been taking the credit. Blackface says he has waited for more than 10 years to voice out and beg 2Face to pay up as it seems things are no longer rosy for Black. The strain in the relationship between Blackface and 2Face became obvious and noticeable during the April, 2013, wedding of the 2Face in Dubai where Blackface’s absence was very conspicuous. Asked why he did not attend the wedding of his one-time bosom friend, Blackface had said at the time that he does not go to places he was not invited to. His response raised questions and confirmed that the two erstwhile friends might not be on speaking terms. “I still haven’t received any payment from 2Face because they have to backdate it; they have to check the revenues of the music, what it has generated, what is due to the co-writer and all that; all those things are just still hanging, but I still have one or two things that I am doing to find out what the issue behind all these stuffs are,” the singer said recently.
