The paparazzo claims he needed hospital treatment, according to gossip site TMZ, and wants to press
charges against West following the incident at LA Airport.
He is thought to be the same photographer attacked by Britney Spears with an umbrella in 2007, according to TMZ, before putting the umbrella left by the star up for sale on eBay.
Meanwhile, West has been named as a felony suspect after police reportedly said he may have committed an attempted robbery when he tried to take the camera off the photographer.
The fracas is the latest involving the rapper. We told yesterday how he ranted at a cameraman who told him he loved his work – telling the man never to talk to him again.
In the bizarre exchange, Kanye said: “Don’t talk to me. I don’t want to hear paparazzi talk to me or anybody I know. Don’t talk to me at all. And don’t talk to anybody I know, at all.
